Kara is a multidisciplinary artist based in Rogers, Arkansas. Her work is grounded in an intuitive process, moving between muted realism and more expressive uses of color, shape, and symbolism. She uses this contrast to explore both the physical presence of the natural world and the intangible sense of connection it carries. Some pieces hold specific meaning, while others begin as a feeling or impulse without clear explanation. Her practice pushes back against internal perfectionism, allowing her to create more freely and intuitively.

Alongside her visual work, Kara channels her creativity through writing and surface pattern design. These practices extend her visual language into new forms, where rhythm, repetition, and narrative continue to shape how she explores emotion, environment, and meaning.
